Let's be honest, exposure isn't easy. You're literally putting yourself in situations that you've probably spent a lot of your life avoiding. For that reason, a lot of people will not want to do exposure therapy too often, and inevitably, it can be easy to prioritize other things and let that get in the way of your progress. 

The reality is, if you're only doing your exposure therapy tasks infrequently or irregularly, the process will probably not work as well as it should.

 

Ideally, aim for daily practice. Work through each video in your hierarchy, repeating difficult simulations a few times until you feel calm with them.

 

This will give you the greatest chance of success.
